Melbourne’s cult pizza brand Mile9 is heading north for a month-long takeover of South City Wine, bringing its signature Detroit-style pizzas to Woolloongabba from Wednesday 19 August.
Expect thick, pillowy pizza with crispy caramelised cheese edges, signature buttermilk fried chicken, $2 oysters, Mile9 canned cocktails, American beers, a hot sauce wall and vinyl spinning throughout the residency. Choose a record from the wall, throw it on the decks and soundtrack your own Mile9 session.
We’re kicking things off on Wednesday 19 August with a Detroit Pizza Party, buy any drink and we’ll take care of the food, with complimentary Detroit-style pizza and snacks throughout the evening.
No bookings required for opening night; just come down and see what Mile9 is all about.
Bookings will then be available Thursday to Saturday, with takeaway available in-store and delivery via Uber Eats and DoorDash throughout the takeover.
